Pune News: 18 teams for Shree Guru Gobind Singh Challenger Trophy football tournament
Pune, February 23, 2024: A total 18 teams have participated in the Shree Guru Gobind Singh Challenger Trophy football tournament which is being organized by Football Association of Pune and will be played at Hotfut Kharadi, Dhole Patil College of Engineering from 24th February 2024. The event is sponsored by Oberoi Overseas education, Khalsa Dairy and Hotfut and managed by Elite Sports Events.
Mr.Sohan Singh Sona said that, The event will be played in open and 40 plus category. A total 18 teams which included Strikers FC, Swaraj FC, Fathima 11, Shivneri FC, CMS Falcons A, CMS Falcons B , Junnar FC, Manchar City FC, Joseph Academy, Sportszilla, Phaltan Gymkhana, Poachers, Avengers, Rocker boys, COET, Vishal FC, Vicious FC and Power Puff Boys FC will be seen in action. The tournament will be played under knockout basis. The tournament will offer total prize money of Rs.100000/-.
