Pune News: Indi Musicons to organize ‘Rise’ on June 21st

Pune, June 13 : In an attempt to provide a platform to the new generation artists from the world of Indian Classical Music, city based Indi Musicons and Rohan Builders have joined hands to undertake an initiative titled ‘Rise’. Second program under this initiative shall take place on Friday, June 21st at 7:00 pm. Entry to this program is free and it will be held at Seva Bhavan Auditorium, Near Bhalekar Matsyagandha Restaurant, Patwardhan Baug – Erandwane, Pune.

Meher Parlikar, an ITC Sangeet Research Academy Scholar and disciple of Pt Ajoy Chakrabarti will present the traditional Abhang during this program. It will also have a flute recital by Anurag Joshi, disciple of Pandit Milind Date. The main artists would be accompanied by Ramkrishna Karambelkar (Tabla), Prathamesh Taralkar (Pakhawaj), Atharva Kulkarni (Harmonium ), Suhas Paralikar.(Taal) and Geet Inamdar (Tabla).
