Pune: No Cooking Gas Supply In Undri, Mohamadwadi, NIBM Road, Kondhwa Since Last Night
Pune, 10th May 2022: Many areas of Pune are without piped gas supply by the MNGL since 10.30 pm on Monday. The affected areas are Mohammadwadi, Undri, Kondhwa and Wanowrie.
According to Maharashtra Natural Gas Limited (MNGL) officials, there is a problem at the MNGL pumping station. Technical team is working on it. The supply is expected to resume by late afternoon.
People who are dependent on the piped gas supply are facing difficulties as they are not able to cook breakfast or morning tea/coffee. The residents are upset as MNGL did not alert them about the disruption in supplies.
Harshad Datar, a retired navy officer, residing in Mohammawadi said, “Since Monday late night, the gas supply to several societies has been disrupted. Even if there was some fault or disruption in the supply, the MNGL at least should have alerted the consumer by sending a message. Since morning, we have been trying to reach customer care and tagging MNGL on Twitter but in vain.”
