Pune: No Relaxation In Lockdown In Cantonments, Rural Areas – District Collector

Pune, 31st May 2021: District Collector Dr Rajesh Deshmukh has extended the lockdown in cantonments and rural areas of the district till 7 am on June 15. There will be no relaxation in current lockdown measures.

The order will be applicable to the municipal councils, Nagar Panchayats and Gram Panchayats as well as cantonments in Pune, Khadki and Dehuroad, Deshmukh said.

At present, only essential shops are allowed to open from 7 am to 11 am on weekdays in these areas.

The Maharashtra state government has classified municipal corporations and districts in three categories for the lockdown from June 1 to 15, on the basis of the number of Coronavirus disease (COVID19) cases, positivity rate and the occupancy of oxygen beds.
