Pune: No Restriction On Using Loudspeakers For These Five Days During Ganpati Festivals, Know Details
Pune 21st August 2023: The state government will continue the relaxation granted to the Ganpati Mandals across Maharashtra to play loudspeakers beyond 10 pm deadline for five days during the Ganpati Festival this year. As the festival is celebrated with a grand celebration in Pune, the Ganpati Mandals here are also happy with the decision as they can play loudspeakers till 12 am for five days during the 10-day festival.
According to officials, the permission to use loudspeakers till 12 am will be granted on September 23, 24, 26, 27 and 28. Deputy Chairperson of Maharashtra Legislative Council Neelam Gorhe earlier held a meeting with concerned official in the city in this regard on August 19.
She also met with the representatives of Ganpati Mandals of the city to understand their problems and asked the administration to take positive note of the instructions or recommendations of Ganpati Mandals of the city.
