Pune: No Vaccine, No Entry In Lonavala Rule Begins

Lonavala, 17th January 2022: Checkpoints have been set up at the entrances of Lonavla city to monitor citizens’ vaccination status. Citizens are being checked and only those who have taken both doses of the vaccine are being admitted into the city.

Those who have not completed the second dose even after the expiry of the second dose appointment, are being given a second dose at the checkpoint immediately.

Lonavala Municipal Council Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Somnath Jadhav, Police Inspector Sitaram Dubal and his team have started the operation on Monday morning.

The checkpoints have been set up near the Sharda Hotel in Khandala and Center Point in Valvan village. Meanwhile, rapid antigen test of citizens is being carried out at Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Chowk.
