Pune: No Water Supply In Sinhgad Road Area On April 18

Pune, 14th April 2023: The water supply in several areas of Pune, including Hingane, Rasanenagar, Suncity Road, Anandnagar, Manikbaug, Vadgaon, Dhayiri, Rajayog Society, and Paranjape area, will be shut off on Tuesday (April 18).

This is due to the repair work of the main water channel in Vadgaon water treatment center. The Pune Municipal Corporation’s Water Supply Department has issued a press release informing the residents of the affected areas about the temporary shut-off.

The repair work is expected to be completed by Tuesday evening, after which the water supply will be restored. However, residents in these areas will experience low water pressure on Wednesday (April 19), and the water supply will be gradually restored to normal by the end of the day.

The Municipal Corporation has urged residents to store enough water for their daily needs and to cooperate with the authorities during this period.

The Vadgaon water treatment center is an important source of water for many areas in Pune, and the repair work is crucial to ensure uninterrupted water supply. The Water Supply Department is working round the clock to complete the repair work as soon as possible and minimize inconvenience to the residents. The department has assured that the water supply will be back to normal by Wednesday evening.
