Pune: Now 24X7 COVID Tests At Sassoon General Hospital

Pune, September 7, 2020: The administration has decided to conduct Coronavirus disease (COVID-19) tests at Sassoon General Hospital around the clock, informed Nationalist Congress Party (NCP) MP Vandana Chavan.

This decision was taken in a meeting held at Council Hall on Saturday in the presence of NCP president Sharad Pawar.

The testing centres, run by the state government, close at 3 pm. After this, COVID testing isn’t done. In this regard, MP Chavan demanded that at state-run Sassoon General Hospital there should be testing 24X7, and this demand was accepted.

Chavan had also demanded that citizens should be able to test at any centres within the city.”Residents living at any part of the city will be able to test at any of the municipal testing centres”, she added.
