Pune: No Water Supply These Areas on Sunday Due To Maintainance Work
Pune,12th February 2022: The Pune Municipal Corporation (PMC) has undertaken repair and maintenance work of the supply system that carries water from the Bhama Askhed dam. Therefore there will be no water supply in Pune’s Nagar Road area on Sunday (Feb 13).
Due to repair and maintenance work at the Parvati water pumping station, water supplies in the central parts of the city will be disrupted for four days from Saturday to Tuesday.
On Sunday there will be no water supply in localities such as Lohegaon, Vimannagar, Vadgaonsheri, Kalwadwasti, Tingrenagar, Yerwada, and Dhanori. On February 14, the supply would be restored with low pressure (Monday).
Water supply in all Peth areas, as well as Dattawadi, Rajendranagar, Lokmanyanagar, Deccan area, Shivajinagar, Swargate, Parvati Darshan, Mukundnagar, Bhavani Peth, and Nana Peth, may be affected by the works at the Parvati water pumping station, according to the PMC.
