Pune: NSCBMS, SNBP International bag titles 1 in football

Pune, 27th June 2025: Netaji Subash Chandra Bose Military School Phulgaon and SNBP International School Chikali bagged a title each to begin the SNBP Inter School District Level Sports Championship 2025-26 on a rousing note at the SNBP International School Chikhali artificial turf, here on Friday.

In the three finals slotted for the day, namely for boys in the Under-10, Under-12 and Under-14, Netaji Subash Chandra Bose Military School Pulgaon bagged the titles in the Under-12 and Under-14 age groups.

The Under-10 title went to SNBP International School who downed SNBP International School by a solitary goal (1-0). The lone goal for SNBP was scored by Shivansh Kumar (3rd minute) of play.

Later in the Under-12 and 14 sections, Netaji Subash Chandra Bose Military School (NSCBMS) proved too much for the host’s side SNBP International School Chikali winning 2-0 respectively. In the Under-12 section, NSCBMS had Wapa Tika (7th) and Kartik Kumar (19th) find the net, in the Under-14 final it was NSCBMS who dominated proceedings and have Sizo Malio (7th) and Mankai Walim (23rd) complete a grand double.

A total of 40 schools took part in the competition in four age-groups, Under-10, 12, 14 and 17 in the boys section, while the girls section was played in the Under-17age group only.
