Pune: Number Of Marathi Medium Students In Science Branch Increased By 12,000; Urdu Medium Students Also Increasing

Pune, 14th June 2022: Compared to 2020, the number of students who have chosen the Marathi medium in science branch has increased by about 20,000 this year as compared to 2020. So this year the result of the science branch in Marathi and English medium is almost the same

This year 6.24 lakh students registered in the science branch. Out of 6.22 lakh students who appeared for the examination, 6.12 lakh students passed. 4.19 lakh students registered through the English medium. Out of which 4.18 lakh students appeared for the actual examination. 4.10 lakh students passed.

 

The pass percentage of English medium students is 98.09. Out of one lakh 88 thousand 810 students registered through Marathi medium, one lakh 88 thousand 123 students appeared for the exam. Out of which 98.86 per cent, i.e. one lakh 86 thousand 976 students passed.

 

In the examination held in 2020, a total of five lakh 60 thousand 51 students had registered in the science branch. Out of five lakh 58 thousand 609 students who appeared for the actual examination, five lakh 41 thousand 400 students had passed. Out of three lakh 76 thousand 412 students who took English medium, three lakh 75 thousand 508 students appeared for the exam. Out of which three lakh 63 thousand 965 students, i.e. 96.93 per cent students passed. One lakh 68 thousand 698 students had registered through Marathi medium. Out of which one lakh 68 thousand 214 students appeared for the exam. In which 97.24 per cent or one lakh 63 thousand 567 students passed the exam.

 

In 2020, two lakh 4 thousand 811 students passed in the Commerce branch through English medium, while one lakh 27 thousand 830 students passed through Marathi medium. 16 thousand 337 students passed in the Arts branch through the English medium. Three lakh 24 thousand 140 students passed through Marathi medium. In 2022, two lakh seven thousand 518 students passed in the Commerce branch through English medium and one lakh 13 thousand 176 students passed through Marathi medium. 19 thousand 145 students passed in English medium and three lakh 34 thousand 834 in Marathi medium.

 

 

 

As a result, the number of students in the Marathi medium in the Commerce branch decreased by 14,000 in 2022 as compared to 2020. It is seen that the number of Marathi medium students in the arts has increased by about 10,000.

 

 

 

Six lakh 77 thousand 169 English medium students registered for the exam. Out of which six lakh 74 thousand 702 students appeared for the exam. Six lakh 43 thousand 747 students passed the exam. Seven lakh 26 thousand 881 students of Marathi medium registered for the exam. Out of seven lakh 19 thousand 820 students who appeared for the examination, six lakh 70 thousand 217 students passed. Out of six lakh 30 thousand 535 students registered through English medium in 2020, six lakh 28 thousand 754 students appeared for the exam. Out of which five lakh 92 thousand 121 students passed. Out of seven lakh 46 thousand 829 students registered through Marathi medium, seven lakh 41 thousand 981 students appeared for the exam and six lakh 52 thousand 488 students passed.

 

 

 

The State Board offers students the choice of English, Marathi, Gujarati, Kannada, Urdu, Sindhi (A), Sindhi (D) and Hindi as optional languages. It shows that after English and Marathi, most of the students are from Urdu medium.

 

 

 

In 2022, a total of 34 thousand 858 students passed the class 12 examination through the Urdu medium. In 2020, 29 thousand 274 students passed. As a result, the number of students in the Urdu medium is also increasing.
