Bike Rider Run Over By PMPML Bus On Pune-Satara Road
Pune, 14th June 2022: A 42-year-old man died after being injured when a bus of the Pune Mahanagar Parivahan Mahamandal Limited (PMPML) hit his two-wheeler. The incident took place near the Vivekananda statue on Pune-Satara road.
The name of the deceased is Siddharam Adevappa Kumbhar (42), a resident of Katraj. Sahakarnagar police station (Pune city police) has registered a case against the PMPML bus driver last night.
Siddharam was working for a contractor. On Monday afternoon, he was going from Swargate to Katraj. The bus hit him and he fell down and came under the wheels of the bus. He died on the spot.
