Pune Ola cab driver to become Army officer

Pune – A 25 year old youth from Pune who used to be Ola driver will soon become Army officer. Om Paithane, a native of Beed district, will pass out from Officers Training Academy (OTA) in Chennai on March 10.

His father Uttam Paithane is a watchman. While studying Bsc at Kaveri college, Erandwane, he had started driving Ola cab in 2016 to support his family. One day a retired Colonel hired his cab and while talking he informed Paithane about career in defence forces.

Paithane worked hard and cleared Combined Defence Services (CDS) exam and joined OTA.
