Pune, 26th July 2021: Students who have registered with the Maharashtra State Board for the Common Entrance Examination for Class XI admission for the academic year 2021-22 will be able to fill the online application form from 3 pm today (26 July). Students of other boards will be able to apply from Wednesday (28 July), informed Dr Ashok Bhosale, Secretary, Maharashtra State Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary education.

The examination for the admission of the eleventh class is completely optional and will be in an offline format. It will be based on the syllabus of the State Board. Students will be able to apply on the website ‘https://cet.11thadmission.org.in”.

The last date for online application is August 2. The state board issued a circular in this regard late on Sunday night.

The state board had earlier on July 20 provided the facility for filling up the application form for the 11th CET exam. However, due to technical glitches, the registration process was closed on July 21. A new system for registration has been developed five days later. Accordingly, students will have to fill up the online application form for the exam on the new website announced by the state board.

Students who have already registered for the exam between July 20 and 21 can view the application on this website by entering the application number and the registered mobile number. Students who have completed the registration need not re-apply. However, students who have not been able to complete the application process before will have to apply for a new one.

State Board students will not be charged for this examination. However, examination fees will be charged from other board students. For this, a payment gateway facility has been provided, said Dr Bhosale.
