Bavdhan, 10th February 2025: Tension gripped residents of Iris 3 Society in SKYi Manas Lake City, Bhukum, after a Pakistani currency note was found outside the building’s lift. The society is located near the National Defence Academy (NDA), raising concerns about a possible security threat.

The incident came to light when the society’s chairman, Sahdev Yadav, lodged a formal complaint at Bavdhan Police Station, urging authorities to conduct a thorough investigation. Residents and local residents echoed this demand, emphasizing the NDA’s proximity as a reason for heightened concern.

The recovered note appeared to be well-used, suggesting it had been in circulation for some time. This has raised questions about how the currency entered the area and who may have brought it into India. Residents have requested the police to review CCTV footage from the society premises to identify any suspicious activity. They have also called for an investigation into whether any individuals from Pakistan have recently moved into the society or nearby localities.
