Pune: PCMC Extends Lockdown Restrictions, Competitive Exam Coaching Centres To Reopen

Pimpri, 17th July 2021: Pimpri Chinchwad Municipal Corporation (PCMC) today issued a revised lockdown order.
PCMC Commissioner Rajesh Patil issued the following guidelines:
1) To prevent the spread of Covid19 in the Pimpri Chinchwad Municipal Corporation area, current restrictions will remain in force till further orders.
2) Competitive Examination Training Centers / Coaching Classes will be open from Monday to Friday till 7 pm with 50% seating capacity.
3) Regular classes of all primary, secondary schools, colleges, educational institutes in the area will be completely closed till July 31, 2021. However, online education will be allowed.
4) All religious programs are banned in the state. Therefore, the prayers of Bakri Eid should be offered at home, not in mosques or public places.Book sacrificial animals online or over the telephone as all animal markets will be shut. Citizens should make symbolic sacrifices as much as possible.
