Pune: PCMC Honors Health Department And Medical Staff For Their Service

Pimpri, 29th October 2023: PCMC came alive with enthusiasm as the birth anniversary of Maharishi Valmiki was celebrated by the Municipal Corporation.

 

Additional Commissioner Ulhas Jagtap paid his respects by offering floral tributes to Maharishi Valmiki’s image at the main administrative building and Yashwantrao Chavan Memorial Hospital in Pimpri.

 

The event was attended by a distinguished group including Health Department Head Yashwant Dange, Regional Officer Anna Bodde, Special Officer Kiran Gaikwad, Legal Expert Advocate Sagar Charan, Public Relations Officer Prafulla Puranik, Anil Lakhan, officials of the Employees’ Federation, and social activists Rakesh Rajoria, Raju Pardeshi, Rajesh Badgujar, Raghubirji Dhakolia, Kunal Bed, and Sandeep Barde, all of whom saluted the image of Maharishi Valmiki.

 

Yashwantrao Chavan Memorial Hospital in Sant Tukaramnagar saw the presence of Dr. Rajendra Vable, Medical Superintendent, Dr. Ujwala Andurkar, Health Inspector Rajkumar Waghmare, Sister In-Charge Savita Nigde, and more.

 

The Pimpri Chinchwad Municipal Corporation organized Valmiki Vichar Prabodhan Parva and unveiled a statue of Babasaheb Ambedkar in an open ground nearby.

 

Health Department Head Yashwant Dange, Special Officer Kiran Gaikwad, Public Relations Officer Prafulla Puranik, Legal Expert Advocate Sagar Charan, and social activists Aziz Sheikh, Mohsin Sheikh, Chief Clerk Wasim Qureshi, Abhijit Dolas, and others were present at this awareness event.

 

During the Prabodh Parva, the Municipal Corporation honoured the cleaners, ward boys, nannies, and other staff of the health and medical department with certificates. The event recognized their outstanding service and dedication.

 

A special Home Minister- Khel Paithani program was organized for women cleaners, featuring Hindi and Marathi songs that were enthusiastically embraced by the participants.

 

Public Relations Officer Prafulla Puranik moderated the program, and Special Officer Kiran Gaikwad expressed gratitude to all who attended, making the celebration a memorable one.
