Pimpri Chinchwad, 16th July 2026: Pimpri Chinchwad Mayor Ravi Landge on Thursday inspected the Chikhali Gharkul housing colony in Chikhali, which witnessed severe waterlogging during last week’s heavy rainfall, and directed civic officials to take immediate steps to find a permanent solution to the recurring problem.

He also directed the departments concerned to complete the necessary works on priority so that residents do not face similar hardships during the ongoing monsoon.
The mayor said the civic administration was committed to resolving citizens’ grievances and ensuring that adequate infrastructure is put in place to tackle waterlogging.
