Pimpri Chinchwad, 18th February 2025: Pimpri Chinchwad Police Commissionerate (PCPC) has successfully resolved 12,843 citizen complaints through its “Complaint Redressal Day” initiative, held every Saturday from 18th May 2024 to 15th February 2025. Pimpri Chinchwad Commissioner of Police Vinoy Kumar Choubey introduced this program to address grievances promptly and improve direct communication with residents.

The initiative, conducted at all police stations within the Pimpri Chinchwad jurisdiction, operates from 10:30 AM to 2:00 PM every Saturday. Deputy Commissioners, Assistant Commissioners, and Senior Police Inspectors are present during these sessions to address public concerns directly.

This approach was implemented to expedite complaint resolution and prevent inconvenience to citizens due to delayed responses. The Commissionerate receives complaints through various channels, including web portals, WhatsApp, email, and in-person submissions at different police offices. They also process grievances from state and central government portals.

Commissioner Choubey emphasized the importance of timely complaint resolution to avoid public inconvenience. The program aims to provide a platform for direct dialogue between the police and citizens, ensuring swift and effective handling of grievances.
