Pune: Pimpri-Chinchwad Posts 96.55% Pass Rate in HSC Exams; 29 Colleges Score 100%

Pimpri-Chinchwad, 5th May 2025: Today, the results of the Maharashtra State Board of Secondary & Higher Secondary Education’s Higher Secondary Certificate (HSC) examination were declared. Reflecting the overall trend across the state, girls in Pimpri-Chinchwad outperformed boys. The overall pass percentage in Pimpri-Chinchwad was 96.55%, with girls achieving a pass rate of 97.77% compared to boys at 94.64%.
A total of 29 junior colleges in Pimpri-Chinchwad achieved a 100% pass rate. This year, the overall success rate of students in Pimpri-Chinchwad has increased. A total of 18,803 students had registered for the HSC exams — 9,979 boys and 8,824 girls. Of these, 9,933 boys and 8,972 girls appeared for the exams.
In total, 18,080 students passed, including 9,484 boys and 8,596 girls. Among the successful candidates, 2,374 students passed with distinction, 6,422 with first class, 7,738 with second class, and 1,546 with a pass grade. A total of 645 students failed and will be eligible for a re-examination soon.
95.10% Students Pass in Maval Taluka
In Maval taluka, the overall HSC pass percentage stood at 95.10%. This year, 3,910 students from Maval taluka had registered for the exam — 1,914 boys and 1,996 girls. Of them, 1,913 boys and 1,990 girls appeared, and 1,778 boys and 1,934 girls passed. The pass percentage for boys was 92.94%, while for girls it was 97.18%.
