Pune: Pimpri-Chinchwad Residents Demand Immediate Implementation Of Amnesty For Property Owners
Pimpri Chinchwad, 6th March 2023: The decision of summary amnesty announced by Deputy Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis in the winter session held in Nagpur has been welcomed by the people of Pimpri-Chinchwad. BJP city president and MLA Mahesh Landge has demanded that the municipal administration implement the decision immediately, and property owners who have already paid penalty tax should also benefit from the amnesty.
The Ministry of Urban Development of the state government published the government decision on March 3, 2023, providing relief to the Pimpri-Chinchwad residents from the burden of punishment after 14 years. The concerned department should receive immediate written orders for the implementation of the amnesty decision.
MLA Landge has suggested that the municipal administration create awareness among the public about the understanding and misunderstanding about the decision of amnesty through social media. It is necessary to adjust the previously paid penalty for holders of illegal constructions. The common citizen should be the focal point, and the decision of amnesty should be implemented immediately.
