Pune: Pimpri Chinchwad’s Bhosari Lake Beautification Under Review By PCMC
Pimpri, 3rd November 2023: Pimpri Chinchwad Municipal Corporation’s Additional Commissioner, Vijaykumar Khorate, conducted an inspection of various environmental projects in the area. During his visit to the waste transfer centres at Kasarwadi an Gavli Matha, he assessed the progress and gave directions to expedite the work. One of the key aspects of his visit was to review and beautify Bhosari Lake.
Additional Commissioner Khorate also oversaw the construction of treatment centres for household hazardous waste at Kasarwadi and Gavli Matha as part of the National Clean Air Program (NCAP). He showed interest in the ongoing construction of the Bhosari sewage treatment plant under Amrit 2.0, taking note of the construction process.
Accompanying him during this inspection were City Engineer Sanjay Kulkarni, Regional Officer Anna Bodde, Umesh Dhakne, Executive Engineer Anil Bhalsakhle, Health Executive Officer Ganesh Deshpande, and Deputy Engineer Yogesh Alhat.
Subsequently, Additional Commissioner Khorate visited the sewage treatment plants at Chikhli and Jadhavwadi. He gathered information about the implementation of SCADA technology during the inspection tour of the sewage treatment plant at Chinchwad.
His team during this inspection tour included Assistant City Engineer Sanjay Kulkarni, Executive Engineer Harwinder Singh Bansal, Deputy Engineer Sohan Nikam, and Rajendra Morankar.
