Pune: Pimpri Gas Leak Explosion Injures Five; All Hospitalized at YCM
Pimpri, 21st August 2024: Five people were injured in a gas leak explosion that occurred early this morning around 6:30 AM in the Bodha Nagar area of Pimpri. The injured are currently receiving treatment at YCM Hospital.
The victims have been identified as Manoj Kumar (19), Dhiraj Kumar (23), Govind Ram (28), Ram (40), and Samendar Ram (30), all residents of Budhnagar, Pimpri.
Authorities suspect that the explosion was triggered by a gas leak that came into contact with an open flame.
