Pune: Pimpri Industries and DISH Come Together to Organize Safety Rally on 52nd National Safety Week
Pimpri Chinchwad, 14th March 2023: On March 10th, Pimpri Industries joined hands with the Directorate of Industrial Safety and Health to organize a safety rally in the Pimpri area to commemorate the 52nd National Safety Week.
The rally aimed to create awareness of the importance of following industrial safety rules to ensure the safety of every employee, and stress the need for behavior-based safety.
Employees from GKN Sinter Metals Pvt. Ltd., Elantas Beck, and 3M Industries actively participated in the rally, which was flagged off by Mr. Giri, Joint Director of DISH, and Mrs. Kambale, Deputy Director of DISH. The rally was graced by the presence of Rajesh Mirani, Director of Operations at GKN Sinter Metals Pvt. Ltd., Mr. Sirikumar Ramkrishna, Managing Director of Elantas Beck India Ltd., and Mr. Pathade, EHS Legal Compliance Head of 3M India.
The rally concluded with a special address by Mr. Giri, Joint Director of DISH, who emphasized the importance of industrial safety behavior and encouraged all employees to participate in the Narayan Meghaji Lokhande Industrial Safety and Health Award 2023. In her motivational speech, Mrs. Kambale, Deputy Director of DISH, highlighted the importance of industrial safety in both workplace and road safety.
