Pune: PMC Appeals Citizens To Propose Work For Budget For Year 2023-24

Pune, 5th August 2022: The budget of Pune Municipal Corporation (PMC) for the upcoming financial year 2023-24 will be prepared soon. Citizens can suggest works up to Rs 5 lakhs to get the works done in their area. The municipal corporation has appealed to the citizens to fill out the application form.

The implementation of the budget for the year 2022-23 is currently underway. The budget is Rs 8,500 crore. The work of preparing the upcoming year’s budget starts after the month of January, but citizens’ work is being called for it from now.

Citizens are required to provide their locality with roads (re-asphalting only), footpaths, water supply, sewers, bus stands (as advised by PMPML), buildings (repair only), public toilets, street lights, etc.

Applications will be made to propose to work up to Rs 5 lakh in respect of electricity, slum (repair only).
