Pune: PMC Demolishes Five Hotels In Balewadi High Street Area

Baner, 28th September 2022: The Pune Municipal Corporation (PMC) has finally taken action against unauthorised hotels, rooftop restaurants and hotels working in the margin of the Balewadi High Street area. 10 to 12 illegally constructed hotels have been demolished by the PMC.

PMC had first issued a notice to these establishments regarding their illegal construction. After which, Executive Engineer Shrikant Waydande, Deputy Engineer Jaywant Pawar, Sangram Patil, and Prasad Dandile took the action and demolished the reported constructions.

Illegal constructions demolished by PMC:

8,525 sq. ft. of Safa
800 sq. ft. of Hippie @ Heart
650 sq. ft. of Tales and Spirit
200 sq. ft. of Hotel Park Grandeur,
11,302 sq. ft. of Incognito and Aryan Bar.
