Pune: PMC Deputy Commissioner And His Wife Booked In Disproportionate Asset Case

Pune, 5th July 2022: A case has been registered at Kothrud police station against the deputy commissioner of the sky sign department of Pune Municipal Corporation (PMC) and his wife for illegal accumulation of wealth. Today morning, their house was raided by the Pune unit of the Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB).

The accused have been identified as Vijay Bhaskar Landge (49) and Shubhechha Vijay Landge (43). Landge is working in a class one post in the sky sign department of Pune Municipal Corporation. A few days ago, the ACB received a complaint that Shubhechcha Landage had amassed assets which are more than his known sources of income.

The department investigated accordingly. It has been revealed that the Landage couple has disproportionate assets (DA) worth Rs 1.02 crore which is 31% more than legitimate income between February 2000 and February 2022. They have bought four properties in Pune and one in Nashik.
