Pune: PMC Introduces Safe School Zone For Student Safety
Pune, 15th December 2022: The majority of schoolchildren rely on autorickshaw or vans to go to and from school each day. The idea of a “safe school zone” was recently established by the Pune Municipal Corporation (PMC). The “safe school zone” was created to make it simpler for pupils to commute to school each day while also aiding with traffic regulations in the city.
Positive aspects of “Safe school zones”
During drop-off and pick-up times for school, traffic will be controlled.
On all of the routes leading to the school, traffic cops will be stationed.
Children who walk or cycle to school will find it simpler.
Expert advice was incorporated into the creation of the traffic regulation plan.
