Pune: Passenger Dies After Falling From Running PMPML Bus, Case Registered Against Driver
Pune, 15th December 2022: A passenger died after falling from a running PMPML bus in the Hadapsar area. A case has been registered against the bus driver in this case.
The deceased passenger has been identified as Sudam Shankar Chaugule (57), a resident of Gosavi Vasti, Vaiduvadi, Hadapsar. Chaugule’s daughter Malanbai has filed a complaint at Hadapsar police station.
A group of four had left by the bus. They were waiting at the door of the bus. At that time, as the driver was driving the bus at high speed, Chowgule fell off during a turn. Chowgule, who was seriously injured, was immediately admitted to the hospital. He died while undergoing treatment.
A case has been registered against the bus driver for driving the bus at high speed and being responsible for the death of the passenger.
