Pune: PMC Launches Website To Provide Vaccination Information At A Click Of Mouse

Pune, 13th May 2021: In order to provide information about vaccination in the city, Pune Municipal Corporation (PMC) has launched a website.

PMC Additional Commissioner Rubal Agarwal said, “The website is an attempt to give a visual (geotagged) perspective on vaccine availability for any given day in the PMC. This is an initiative of PMC supported by MCCIA.”

Pune Mayor Murlidhar Mohol said that people will get details about vaccination centres, type of vaccines, number of slots etc on the website http://punevaccination.in “People will get all the information at a click of the mouse”, Mohol informed.

Standing Committee Chairman Hemant Rasne, Leader of the House Ganesh Bidkar, Leader of Opposition Deepali Dhumal, Municipal Commissioner Vikram Kumar, Additional Commissioner Rubal Agarwal, MCCIA Director-General Prashant Girbane were present on the occasion.

Mohol said, “Considering the huge number of COVID19 patients, PMC wants to conduct the vaccination on a large scale but the vaccine quota is causing undue hardship to the citizens. To date, nine lakh doses have been given to the citizens in Pune city. We have appealed to the state government to supply more vaccines.”
