Pune: PMC Recommends FIR And Cancellation Of Liquor Licence Of Hotel Sabros For Encroachment
Pune 25th August 2023: The officials of the Pune Municipal Corporation’s Anti Encroachment Department on Friday demolished an encroachment part of Hotel Sabros located at the Bhandarkar and Law College Junction. The civic officials have also recommended registration of FIR against the hotel owner and operator for violating the rules repeatedly.
The encroachment officials have also said that a recommendation was also made to the Food and Drugs Administration department to cancel the liquor licence of the hotel. An FIR in the matter will be registered in the next two days, said Deputy Engineer of PMC Sunil Kadam. The anti-encroachment department has vacated around 2,500 square feet of land during an anti-encroachment drive. The officials used JCB Machine, cutter etc equipment to remove the encroachment.
According to the officials, the anti-encroachment department has taken action three times against the Sabros Hotel in the last few days. However, despite taking action the hotel owner and operator continued to violate the norms due to which a report has been forwarded to the police and FDA for registration of FIR and cancellation of Liquor licence of the hotel.
