Pune: PMC Sends Atal Bihari Vajpayee Medical Hospital Proposal to MHSU

Pune, November 10, 2020: Pune Municipal Corporation (PMC) has sent the proposal to Maharashtra Health Science University, Nashik for approval of proposed Bharat Ratna Atal Bihari Vajpayee medical college at Naidu Infectious Disease Hospital in Pune.

“After getting approval from the State Government it will be sent to National Medical Council before November 30”, informed Pune city mayor Murlidhar Mohol. The medical college will be constructed at 12.5 acres of land near Naidu hospital.

MHSU, however, wanted the plot in the name of the landowners. Thus, Mohol completed all the legal formalities and made the proposal.
