Pune: PMC Takes Action Against SBI Tilak Road Branch, Car Showroom For Violating COVID Norms

Pune, 10th March 2021: Pune Municipal Corporation’s Vishrambaugh Ward office has taken action against the State Bank of India (SBI), Tilak Road branch for violating the Covid-19 guidelines. The ward office has taken action against a car showroom too.

“There was a rush at the bank counter, and the people were seen violating the social distancing norm. Thus, we have taken action against the branch”, said assistant commissioner Ashish Mahadalkar.

Ward office recovered a fine of Rs 2,500 from the branch and car showroom. Similarly, the authorities took action against 63 people for not wearing the mask. A fine of Rs 500 has been collected from each of them.
