There are about 1.5 lakh stray dogs in the city, along with other domestic animals. Recently, 34 new villages have been included in the municipal corporation and the burden of stray dogs and stray animals has fallen on the municipal corporation. Although the Municipal Corporation has appointed four organisations to sterilize these dogs, their work has not started at full capacity.

Every day at least 15 to 20 dogs get injured in accidents in the city, but they cannot be treated as there is no municipal animal hospital. Hence, there is a need for an animal hospital in the city.

In case of an accident of stray dogs or stray animals in the city, it will be mandatory to take them in the municipality’s dog rescue vehicle to the newly constructed hospital for free treatment.

Mission Possible will be obliged to reserve 20 kennels for free treatment of these dogs, arrange food and drink for the dogs/animals admitted for treatment and not charge any fee for this.
