Pune: PMC To Expand Scope Of Services On WhatsApp Soon
Pune, 29th December 2022: The Pune Municipal Corporation (PMC) will shortly increase the scope of its WhatsApp offerings. Only water and income taxes could be paid through PMC’s Whatsapp service up until this point. But shortly, no objection certificates, officer contact information, and information from different departments will also be available.
According to Municipal Commissioner Vikram Kumar, the WhatsApp chat box service will launch in seven to eight days.
It could be challenging for certain residents to use the online services and navigate the PMC website. Therefore, PMC offers all services via a one-click WhatsApp chatbox.
For these purposes, PMC has the WhatsApp number 8888251001. Currently, this system is being used by at least 97,000 citizens.
According to Additional Commissioner of PMC, Ravindra Binwade, testing to expand the services through the WhatsApp number is nearing its conclusion. The technical work is finished as well. Within the next eight to 10 days, the WhatsApp chatbox service will be accessible.
