Pune: PMC to Organize Heritage Walks Showcasing City’s Historic Landmarks, Check Details Here
Pune, 6th November 2025: The Pune Municipal Corporation (PMC) will conduct a series of guided heritage walks on November 15 and 16 to help residents explore the city’s architectural and cultural legacy. The walks will begin at 7 am on both days.
Participants will visit several heritage sites that have shaped Pune’s history, including Shivaji Pool, Ghorpade Ghat, Shaniwar Wada, Kasba Ganpati Temple, Lal Mahal, Nanawada, Bhau Rangari Wada, Tambdi Jogeshwari Temple, Dagdusheth Halwai Ganpati Temple, Bhide Wada, Nagar Vachan Mandir, Belbagh Temple, Mahatma Phule Market, Tulshibaug Ram Temple, and Vishrambaug Wada.
Each stop on the route will feature stories highlighting the historical and architectural value of the locations, offering participants a deeper understanding of Pune’s evolution from its Peshwa-era roots to its modern identity.
