Pune: PMC to Seal Gyms, Swimming Pool, Badminton Halls If Found Open

Pune, October 2, 2020: To control the spread of coronavirus disease (Covid-19) infection the government imposed lockdown and closed everything. Then in a phased manner, many places have been opened.
The Pune Municipal Corporation (PMC) received the information that the owners of the gyms, badminton halls, swimming pools and indoor games hall have opened them by violating lockdown rules. Therefore the PMC has issued an order to take action against them.
PMC Additional Commissioner Dr Kunal Khemnar has issued an order to seal the gyms, badminton halls, swimming pools and sports complexes and take action against their owners. A regular inspection will be done to check whether the gym, indoor sports hall and swimming pools are open or not, if found open then actions will be taken against them.
