Pune, 27th February 2023: Citizens can now file any kind of complaint regarding water supply to the Pune Municipal Corporation (PMC) 24 hours a day. Aniruddha Pavaskar, head of the Water Supply Department of the municipal corporation, informed that a 24-hour helpline service will be started by the municipal administration from 1st March.

PMC Care Helpline has been started by the Municipal Corporation for all types of complaints in the city. However, often this helpline is closed and complaints about water are not taken seriously even though it is a matter of daily need. Therefore, it has been decided to start this helpline from the Municipal Corporation.

Also, under the Equal Water Supply Scheme, it has been made mandatory for the Municipal Corporation to have a 24-hour water helpline. Therefore, citizens will now be able to complain about water shortages, low pressure, bursting of water pipes, and all other types of water-related complaints on this helpline. The helpline number for complaints is 020-25501383.
