Pune: PMP Bus Thieves On The Prowl, Incidents In Mahapalika Bhavan Area

Pune, 17th October 2022: The two who stole the PMP bus installed in the Mahapalika Bhavan area were arrested. At that time, as the bus hit the cabin, the cabin was damaged. The arrested thieves have been identified as Suraj Shashikant Jadive (age 35, resident of Chintamani Paradise, Bharatinagar, Kothrud) and Mohit Avinash Chavan (age 26, resident of Janwadi, Gokhalenagar). Jalindar Khandale (age 27, resident Parvati Darshan) has filed a complaint at Shivajinagar police station.

Khandale is a security guard at PMP. Jadive and Chavan came to the Mahapalika Bhavan area around half past one at midnight. Thieves started the bus parked near Shramik Bhavan. Both of them were preparing to take the bus and leave. At that time, Khandale and colleague Bhimrao Sonwane were present there. Sonawane saw the thieves who were preparing to steal the bus. Khandale and Sonawane caught both of them. At that time, the bus hit the cabins in the area of the bus stop and the cabins were damaged. Sub-Inspector of Police V. K. Shinde is investigating further.
