Pune: PMPML Announces Temporary Bus Stop Changes at Katraj Due to Flyover Work

Katraj, 30th November 2024: The Pune Mahanagar Parivahan Mahamandal Limited (PMPML) has announced temporary changes to its bus stops at Katraj due to ongoing flyover construction at Katraj Chowk. The changes are being implemented to facilitate the lifting and alignment of the flyover segment at this crucial traffic junction, following instructions from the Deputy Commissioner of Police, Traffic Branch, Pune City.

The revised bus stops and routes will take effect from midnight on December 2, 2024, and will remain in place until further notice. Below are the details of the changes:

Katraj-Kondhwa Road Bus Stop:
Buses on routes 140A, 188, 209, 291, K-16, and AP-2 will now depart from Rajas Society Chowk.

Katraj Bypass Bus Stop:
Buses on routes 43, 43A, 44, 45, 214, and 228 will operate from the service road in front of Wonder City.

Katraj Sarpodyan Bus Stop:
Routes 61, 292, 293, 296, and 296A will now depart from the Gujarwadi Bus Stop.

Katraj Police Chowki Bus Stop:
Buses of Katraj Depot on routes 24, 24A, and 235 will operate from Katraj Snake Park Bus Stop.
Wagholi Depot buses on routes 24A and 236 will operate from Swargate Main Bus Stop.
Buses on routes 130, 290, K-11, K-12, K-14, and K-18 will continue to operate from Katraj Police Chowki Bus Stop.

Katraj Road Bus Stop:
Routes 2A, 11K, 301, 301A, and night buses will operate from Katraj Depot.

Gujarwadi-Katraj Bus Stop:
Routes 42, 90, 103, 103M, 298, 299, and 339 will now operate from the Garbage Depot near Katraj Milk Dairy.

Suspended Routes:
Routes 294, 295, and 297 are temporarily suspended due to the ongoing flyover work.

Unchanged Routes:
Routes 47, 52, and 52A will continue to operate from the old Sarasbagh bus stop.
PMPML has appealed to commuters, students, workers, and women to take note of these changes and cooperate with the transport authority during this period. The administration also assured passengers that efforts are being made to minimize inconvenience and restore normal services as soon as possible.
