Pune: PMPML Expands Women-Only Bus Service to 33 Routes Starting 12th June

Pune, 9th June 2025: For the convenience of female passengers, Pune Mahanagar Parivahan Mahamandal Limited (PMPML) is launching a special bus service exclusively for women, starting from June 12. Currently, the service is operational on 14 routes. Beginning June 12, it will be extended to 19 additional routes, making a total of 33 routes. This decision was taken in view of the increasing rush and crowded travel hours.

The announcement was made by PMPML Chairperson and Managing Director Deepa Mudhol Mundhe. The following are the new routes with departure timings:

1. Route No. 2A – Katraj to Shivajinagar: Morning departure from Katraj at 9:05 AM, evening departure from Shivajinagar at 6:25 PM
2. Route No. 13 – Upper Depot to Shivajinagar: Morning departure at 9:15 AM from Upper Depot, evening from Shivajinagar at 6:10 PM
3. Route No. 15 – Dhayari DSK to Bhekrai Nagar: Morning 9:00 AM from Dhayari DSK, evening 6:00 PM from Bhekrai Nagar
4. Route No. 29 – Alandi to Swargate: Morning 8:45 AM from Alandi, evening 6:40 PM from Swargate
5. Route No. 35 – Mukai Chowk to PMC Building: Morning 8:40 AM from Mukai Chowk, evening 6:40 PM from PMC Building
6. Route No. 38 – Dhankawadi to Narveer Tanaji Wadi (NT Wadi): Morning 9:35 AM from Dhankawadi, evening 6:15 PM from NT Wadi
