Pune: PMPML Launches Bus Service With Rs 5 Fare Between Sun City And Kothrud
Pune, 1 March 2021: Pune Mahanagar Parivahan Mahamandal Limited (PMPML) has launched a 5 km bus service from Sun City to Kothrud stand at only Rs 5 fare under the Atal Bus Service Scheme. This bus service was started with the efforts of Corporator Manjusha Deepak Nagpure.
The bus on K-22 route will go through Sun City – Krishna Mandir – Star Garden – Shivpushpak Park – Anandnagar – Hingane – Vithalwadi – Rajaram Pool – Shriman Society – Shipra Society – Canal Corner – Karvenagar – Vada pav Stop – Gandhi Bhavan Fata – Kothrud Stand. At present, this bus service will be available every 1 hour.
The citizens of Sun City area have demanded that bus service should be started for destinations like Shivajinagar, Katraj and Hinjawadi.
“After the Corona pandemic, we will try to start buses on the demanded routes,” said PMPML Director Shankar Pawar.
He also expressed confidence that the new bus route, which was launched at a ticket price of only Rs 5 under Atal Bus Service, would get a good response.
