Pune: PMPML Receives 37 Complaints And 14 Feedback Notes On First ‘Pravasi Divas’
Pune 17th July 2023: The Pune Mahanagar Parivahan Mahamandal Limited (PMPML) has started ‘Pravasi Divas’ initiative to take complaints and feedback from commuters with an aim to improve the public transport service in the city. On the first ‘Pravasi Divas’ held at all the depots in the city on Friday, the PMPML has received 37 Complaints and 14 Feedback notes from citizens.
According to officials, a guardian officer has been appointed for every depot to take complaints and feedback from citizens. The ‘Pravasi Divas’ is organised on every second and fourth Friday of the month at all the depots in the city between 3 pm and 5 pm. The commuters can walk into these depots with their complaints or feedback during this period. Those who fail to reach in time are also advised to approch the headquarter office at Swargate at any time as per their convenience.
On Saturday, the newly appointed Chairman and Managing Director (CMD) of PMPML Sachhindra Pratap Singh and depot managers of all depots interacted with the commuters by travelling in the buses between 8 am and 11 am to understand their problems while commuting in the city bus, said PMPML officials.
