Pune: PMPML Stops Buses From Hadapsar Railway Terminal Due To Low Response, Passengers Inconvenience
Hadapsar 5th Sept 2023: The Pune Mahanagar Parivahan Mahamandal Limited (PMPML) has stopped bus service from Hadapsar Railway Terminal citing low response as reason. This has led to a major inconvenience to the commuters as they have to opt for private vehicles or auto rickshaws to travel from here and pay higher amount to due to lack of options to commute.
The officials of PMPML said that the bus was getting very low response and the PMPML was earning less revenue due to which a decision was taken to stop the service from here. However, the railway officials have claimed that they are in talks with the PMPML to restart the service from here. A train from Hyderabad comes to Hadapsar Terminal three times a week on Tuesday, Friday and Sunday and a good number of passengers travel in it.
The bus service from Hadapsar Railway Terminal was started by PMPML in November last year following a discussion with the railway officials. The PMPML was running buses from Swargate Bus Stand and Deccan to Hadapsar Railway Terminal.
