Pune: PMPML To Pay Rs 100 To Citizens For Complaining About Errant Driver And Conductors

Pune 13th July 2023: The Pune Mahanagar Parivahan Mahamandal Private Limited (PMPML) has launched a scheme to control the errant behaviour of drivers and conductors. The transport utility will now be paying Rs 100 as a reward to the citizens who complain about such drivers or conductors with evidence.

“Speaking on phone while driving or using earphones is not good for the safety (of passengers). Similarly, not having route board or having wrong route board on the bus, stopping the bus on zebra crossing causes inconvenience to the passengers. For any such problem the driver or conductor is fined for Rs 1,000” said PMPML in a statement.

“On receiving any such complaint from passengers or citizens, they will get cash reward of Rs 100 once the complaints are verified. At the same time, the fine of Rs 1,000 will be collected from the salary of the driver or conductor” the statement further stated.

To complain against such drivers or conductors citizens can click photos or videos and send them to [email protected] or WhatsApp them on 9881495589 with bus number, route, location, date and time of the incident. Such complaints can also be submitted to the nearby depot with evidences.
