Pune, 27th May 2025:The Pune Metropolitan Region Development Authority (PMRDA) Emergency Department is now fully equipped with state-of-the-art machinery to tackle heavy rainfall and other urgent situations, ensuring robust monsoon disaster management. Authorities have urged citizens to avoid stepping outside during emergencies and to steer clear of dangerous areas, emphasizing public safety and emergency preparedness.

As the weather department continues to provide regular monsoon forecasts, warning of potential heavy downpours in certain areas, the PMRDA remains on high alert. Additional Commissioner Deepak Singla has directed the department to plan effectively for timely assistance to those affected by emergencies. Officials have been instructed to maintain close coordination with other agencies to ensure swift response and immediate aid delivery during urgent situations.
