Pune, 7th February 2025: The Pune Metropolitan Region Development Authority (PMRDA) has introduced an ‘e-office’ system, allowing citizens to access ten essential documents online without visiting government offices. The initiative, which aligns with directives from the central and state governments, aims to enhance transparency and efficiency in administrative services.

With this digital system, residents can now obtain building construction permits, occupancy certificates, boundary maps, land allotment or transfer documents, no objection certificates (NOCs), and more from the comfort of their homes. Earlier, applicants had to visit PMRDA offices in Aundh or Akurdi for these documents.

Explaining the benefits of the new system, PMRDA Commissioner Dr. Yogesh Mhase stated, “The online facility has been operational since February 1. Now, applicants will receive real-time updates via SMS, eliminating the need for physical visits. They will also be notified if any errors are found in their application.”

Citizens can access these services through the official website: https://www.pmrda.gov.in. The system also allows applicants to track the progress of their files, making the process more transparent and efficient.

Documents Available Online Under the E-Office System:
Building construction permission
Land measurement certificate
Occupancy certificate
Zone certificate
Section map
Transfer of flats in housing schemes
Registration of heirs on flats in housing schemes
No objection certificate for loans on flats
Preliminary fire safety NOC
Final fire safety NOC

The move is expected to significantly reduce paperwork, minimize delays, and improve convenience for citizens, marking an important step in PMRDA’s digital transformation.
