Pune: PMRDA Promises Solutions For Wagholi Residents Regarding Road And Water Issues

Pune, 23rd January 2023: Rahul Ranjan Mahiwal, commissioner of the Pune Metropolitan Region Development Authority (PMRDA), has promised to address the water and road problems in Wagholi as soon as possible.

In a meeting with Mahiwal on Friday, 20th January, a team headed by Ashok Pawar, Member of Legislative Assembly (MLA) for the Shirur constituency, and representatives of Wagholi residential building societies reviewed issues relating to water and roads.

Local MLA Ashok Pawar provided details of the discussion, stating that it covered the problems with Bakori Road and Ivy Estate in Wagholi. It was urged that PMRDA analyse the court’s stay order on this specific matter and find a legal solution as soon as feasible.

Pawar added that PMRDA should finish building the road from Lexicon School to Gulmohar Primrose Society. It was suggested at the conference that the cement concrete on the Wagholi to Lohegaon Road be finished. More than 70% of the water supply problem has been resolved, and the remaining problems will also be resolved within the next three months, according to Rahul Mahiwal.
