Pune: PMRDA Proposes No Constructions On Hills In Newly Merged 23 Villages

Pune, 5th August 2021: The Pune Metropolitan Region Development Authority (PMRDA) has proposed a ‘hilltop and hill slopes’ zone on various hills in the 23 villages which recently merged with the Pune Municipal Corporation (PMC). The hilltops cover 853 hectares.

PMRDA presented the development plan to the Maharashtra State government which recently got approval. PMRDA had called objections and suggestions over the entire procedure. To reserve the zone on these hills, PMRDA had proposed.

These hills have been uploaded in the GSI system and a 3D view is also available. This will help to know if there is any construction on the hill.
