Pune: Allegations Against Administration Of Osho Ashram For Financial Irregularities

Pune, 4th August 2021: Osho Friends Foundation (OFF) has alleged that there are financial irregularities of over thousands of crores at Osho Ashram in Koregaon Park and Pune Police is not ready to file a complaint against the financial irregularities at the Osho International Foundation.

While addressing a press conference, the OFF alleged that the Ashram administration which is managed by Osho International Foundation has violated foreign exchange laws. The foundation is registered under Maharashtra Public Trust Act.

OFF executive trustee Yogesh Thakkar said, “if the police probe deeply into these malpractices, then they can unearth the financial irregularities worth thousands of crores.”

OFF members including Thakkar, Kiran Dubey, Arti Razdan said, that the foundation receives huge donations from the international community. “We have submitted the proofs regarding it on July 7 at Koregaon Park police station. But police have not taken any action so far”, they said.

They demanded that the police take action against the International foundation and the members.

Meanwhile, Koregaon Park police station inspector Dilip Shinde said, “the investigation in the case is underway. We will take action once the investigations are done”.
